All applicants must complete and sign a Standard Declaration as part of their application.”

If you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland for 6 months or more (after age 16), you must provide police clearance from each country you resided in.
Clearance must confirm no convictions during your stay in that country.
Must cover the complete period you lived in that country no gaps.
Clearance must be dated after you left that country, not during your stay.
All clearance must be provided and approved before a final appointment is confirmed.

Obtaining international police clearance is the responsibility of the applicant and can take time.

International clearance can take weeks or months. Apply as soon as you express interest in a role.
All associated costs for obtaining international police clearance are borne by the applicant.
Any costs involved in obtaining international police clearance must be covered by the applicant. Donnycarney Youth Project is not responsible for these costs.

Clearance must be obtained from the FBI — not individual states. Identity history summary checks are required.
National police clearance is available via the Australian Federal Police (AFP) online portal.
Police clearance certificates are available through the official New Zealand Police online service.
